Operations & Treatment
The City of American Canyon owns and operates the American Canyon Wastewater Treatment Plant (WWTP) commissioned in 2001, which treats domestic and industrial wastewater flows. The WWTP is a secondary/tertiary treatment plant and was one of the first WWTPs in the country with Membrane Bio Reactor (MBR) and ultraviolet light (UV) disinfection.
